George Edgar said that the troops of Great Britain within international forces are based in southern Afghanistan and it will be easier to withdraw from Pakistan from logistic point of view. But he added that the part of the troops and equipment will be pulled via countries of Central Asia, Russia and further to Europe.
He said that the part of equipment will be withdrawn via Uzbekistan based on inter-governmental agreement on ground and air transit of cargo and personnel, which came into force in 2013.
The envoy said that the railway transport will be used to transport cargoes, while air transport will be used to pull people from Afghanistan, including through territory of Uzbekistan.
