Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On the eve, a call was received to the call center of the Special Search, Fire and Rescue Squad Kamchik that a SAMS lorry crashed into 233.7 km of the Tashkent-Osh highway an iron fence, as a result of which the carriageway was blocked.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, in a few minutes more than 10 employees of the Kamchik search, fire and rescue squad, as well as about 20 representatives of other relevant services of the State Emergencies Ministry, worked on the spot. Through special technical devices, the multi-ton car was evacuated to a safe place, after which the traffic in this section was restored.
A few hours later, at approximately the same section of the Tashkent-Osh highway, another heavy truck belonging to the Kyrgyz side fell into a similar situation. The driver lost control, as a result of which the car entered the oncoming lane. The rescue team of the Ministry of Emergencies, together with colleagues from other services, transported the truck to a safe place using special equipment.
It should be noted that in both cases there were no casualties or injuries.
