Two men sentences for murder of Rakhmatilla Mirzaev

Tashkent city criminal court convicted Qudrat Shoazizov and Umid Mirzayev for the murder of the anchor Rakhmatilla Mirzaev and sentenced them to imprisonment.

Qudrat Shoazizov was sentenced to 17 years of imprisonment, while the son of the anchor – Umid Mirzaev – to 18 years.

The anchor of National TV and Radio Company of Uzbekistan Rakhmatilla Mirzaev was found killed in his house in Zangiata district on 2 March.

The murder was uncovered in the result of undertaken measures by the law enforcement bodies of Tashkent region.
