Two Human Trafficking Suspects Detained in Türkiye and Deported to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In a joint operation conducted by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Türkiye and Uzbekistan, two wanted individuals accused of crimes related to human trafficking were detained and deported to Uzbekistan: Barnokhon Khusainovna Mukhamedova (born 1962, Samarkand region) and Nozima Fakhriddinovna Najimdinova (born 1987, Namangan region).

Citizens affected by the actions of these individuals may contact the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, its regional departments, or the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.

Efforts to pursue fugitives abroad, including in Türkiye, for crimes committed continue, and the principle of accountability will be strictly upheld.
