Two hijackers detained in Samarkand region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 11 August 2019, two persons were detained in Pastdargom district of Samarkand region.

Two persons stopped a Nexia car and asked to transport them to Turttom mahalla. After arrival, two unidentified persons inflicted bodily injuries on the driver, after which they used force and landed him.

As a result of the search, a flat tire car was found on the territory of Elbek mahalla. As a result of the measures taken, a 20-year-old previously convicted resident of Turttom mahalla M.O. and 24-year-old resident of Nurabad region Kh.N. was identified and detained for this crime.

A criminal case has been opened, an investigation is underway.
