Two enterprises launched in Samarkand

The enterprises were based on Samarkand Lift Construction Plant, which was announced as bankrupt.

Sam Antep Gilam purchased the real estate of the enterprise for 9.5 billion soums, about half of which were banking credits.

The newspaper said that Samarkand Euro Asia Lift will produce about 30 units of lifts a month.

Samarkand Euro Asia Textile realizes a project on production of men’s clothing and bedding to the primary processing of cotton fiber and yarn worth US$23.7 million. The company will produce 2 million men’s shirts and 200,000 bed linen and other import-substituting products worth US$25 million.

The project on installation of line on production of polyester fiber, which is used for production of knitted garments, furniture and linoleum, will be completed soon. The small enterprise will produce 3,000 tonnes of products a year and will be launched in the middle of 2016.
