The road accident occurred on 2 May 2018 at 02:39 in Akzhaik district of West Kazakhstan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 171 km of the Ural-Atyrau road. Two citizens of Uzbekistan died in the result of the accident.

The driver of the truck MAN Olim Nematov and the bus driver Setra Farid Gafurov were the victims of the incident.

Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized work to bring information to close relatives of the deceased.

Also at this time, the Ministry of Emergency Measures and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan are carrying out organizational arrangements for the delivery of bodies of the dead to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
