Two children killed in gas blast in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A gas blast at house No. 38 in Kitab district of Kashkadarya, owned by A. Parmonov, took place at 10:04 of 8 October 2018.

The blast occurred due to a malfunctioning gas stove. Two girls at the age of 5 and 2, granddaughters of the house owner, died in the result of the blast in hospital. The daughter-in-law of the house owner, Bakhtigul Jamalova, received burn injuries.

The law enforcement bodies launched investigation.
