Turkmenistan opens natural gas compression station
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Turkmenistan commissioned a new natural gas compression station Bagtyyarlik to significantly boost export of gas to China.
The launch of compression station enables to increase capacity of Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline by 60 million cubic meters a day.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Turkmen President Gurbanguli Berdymukhamedov said the station would significantly increase gas supplies to China.
