Turkish FM: Uzbekistan can use sea ports of Turkey

Ahmet Davutoğlu noted that Uzbekistan has no direct access to sea. “I want to underline that all ports of Turkey are also ports of Uzbekistan and we will happy to cooperate,” he said.

He said that there is a project on construction of railroad from China to Turkey, which will pass via territory of Uzbekistan. He said that the project will revive Great Silk Road via railway.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Ahmet Davutoğlu said after construction of the rail road Uzbekistan will have access to all ports of Turkey.
