Turkish Embassy hosts event dedicated to Children’s Day

According to the press service, about 200 children from Mehribonlik Houses, special boarding schools and Elementary Turkish School were invited to the event.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Uzbekistan Namik Guner Erpul underlined that children are future not only the country, but humanity as well. He said that announcement of 2014 as the Year of Healthy Children by the Uzbek President Islam Karimov is evidence that the Government is paying great attention to children.

During the event, children presented dances and songs. Representatives of UTID handed over gifts to children.
