Turkish Company ARIMATIK Ready to Invest US$4 Billion in the Shirin Township Project in Samarkand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Turkish company ARIMATIK has expressed interest in participating in the construction of the Shirin township in Samarkand and announced its readiness to invest US$4 billion in the region on a phased basis.

Company representatives conveyed this information to the Hokim of Samarkand Region, Adiz Boboev, during a meeting at the regional administration.

ARIMATIK, which has more than 42 years of experience in construction, energy, mining, and several other sectors, is considering the possibility of becoming a key partner in the implementation of major investment projects in the region.

During the talks, the regional hokim, together with officials from the Shirin project directorate, presented potential investors with plans for shaping the modern architectural and infrastructure profile of the future township.

In addition, the terms and procedures for acquiring land plots through the lot-based system were explained.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue detailed discussions on cooperation after the final concept of the Shirin township is completed.
