Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A videoconference was held with the participation of the head of the Uzbek diplomatic mission in Turkey, as well as a representative of the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency, chairmen of Turkish companies Baktat Gıda San. Tic. Ltd. Şti and Demeter Sera Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş., the director of the FEZ “Khazorasp” and the deputy governor of Khorezm region for investment and foreign trade.

During the event, the Turkish side received detailed information about the large-scale work in our country in the investment field, the favorable conditions created for investors, including the privileges granted to them for doing business in the Khazorasp Free Economic Zone.

Representatives of Turkish companies expressed interest in implementing investment projects in Khazarasp district for the production of textile products, as well as establishing an enterprise for drying and packaging fruits and vegetables.

As a result of negotiations, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of representatives of Turkish companies to our republic as the situation with the pandemic in Uzbekistan and Turkey stabilizes to discuss issues of implementing investment projects in Khorezm region.
