Trustbank and ICD sign agreement on provision of a financing line
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Private joint-stock bank Trustbank and the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD) signed an agreement on the provision of a financing line.
The document was signed during the official visit of the delegation of Trustbank headed by the Chairman of the Board Sardor Normuhamedov to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).
The purpose of the Agreement is development of small businesses and private entrepreneurship of the Republic of Uzbekistan through the acquisition of technological equipment and fixed assets. ICD will allocate US$7 million within the agreement.
Under the terms of the contract, the submitted projects must comply with Sharia law.
