Trump, Netanyahu and Al Thani Agree to Establish Trilateral Mechanism for Conflict Resolution

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — U.S. President Donald Trump held a telephone conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. Following the discussion, the parties agreed to establish a trilateral mechanism aimed at coordinating actions, resolving disputes, and preventing threats, the White House reported.

The official statement noted that the leaders endorsed the U.S. president’s initiative designed to enhance cooperation and communication among the three countries and to strengthen joint efforts in ensuring regional security.

During the talks, Netanyahu expressed regret over the death of a Qatari serviceman in an Israeli strike on Hamas targets in Doha and assured that such incidents would not be repeated. Al Thani welcomed these assurances and reaffirmed Qatar’s readiness to continue contributing to regional stability.

The parties also discussed prospects for ending the war in Gaza and emphasized their commitment to working together to promote peace and security in the region.
