Truck Collision with Power Pole Causes Outages in Parts of Andijan and Surrounding Districts
 
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Temporary power outages have been reported in parts of the city of Andijan and neighboring districts following a collision between a truck and an electricity transmission pole.
According to the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, at 22:08 today a truck collided with a support of the 110 kV "L-Yayilma-2" transmission line. The resulting electricity outage affected the city of Andijan as well as parts of the Andijan and Oltinkul districts, impacting approximately 13,750 subscribers.
Energy services have already begun emergency repair work. The ministry emphasized that efforts are being carried out on a priority basis to restore stable power supply as quickly as possible.
