Truck Catches Fire on Tashkent–Syrdarya Highway, No Injuries Reported

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A truck caught fire on the 77th kilometer of the M-34 Tashkent–Dushanbe highway, near the city of Bakht in Syrdarya District, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

The fire was reported on 30 October at 12:43.

The flames engulfed the cabin, the cargo bed, and part of the truck’s load. Fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire by 13:15.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are being investigated.
