Tripartite partners meet with World Bank mission

The World Bank mission also included representatives of the International Financial Corporation, the press service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.

Aziz Abdukhakimov, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population, Tanzila Narbaeva, chairperson of the Council of Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, Alisher Shayhov, chairperson of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the meeting along with the officials of the Council of Farmers of Uzbekistan and Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of Uzbekistan.

The IFC specialists, who participated in the event, expressed interest in financing of the projects in textile industry of Uzbekistan.

The sides also discussed issues of cooperation of the tripartite partners with the International Labour Organization and World Bank within realization of the Country dissent work programme.
