Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 7 October 2025, at 16:35:31 Tashkent time, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 and a depth of 30 kilometers occurred on the territory of Afghanistan.

The epicenter was located at coordinates 37.4° N, 69.93° E.

In Uzbekistan, the tremors reached an intensity of 2 points and were recorded in several districts located at a considerable distance from the epicenter: Shurchi District — 192 km, Uzun District — 199 km, Denau District — 204 km, Kumkurgan and Sariasiy Districts — 211 km, and Altynsay District — 212 km.

The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent was 434 kilometers to the southeast.
