Travel Uzbekistan Tourism Roadshows Held in China
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Tourism roadshows titled “Travel Uzbekistan” were held in the cities of Hangzhou and Suzhou as part of the “Year of Uzbekistan Tourism in China” program.
The events brought together more than 200 leading tourism companies from Hangzhou and Suzhou, representatives of the hospitality sector, and private airlines.
Participants were presented with up-to-date information on Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, key areas of industry development, and new opportunities for bilateral cooperation.
Particular attention was given to the presentation of new tourist routes and destinations in the Namangan, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, and Tashkent regions, including cultural and educational tourism, nature-based tourism, and event tourism.
B2B sessions were held on the sidelines of the roadshows, during which representatives of the tourism industries of Uzbekistan and China discussed practical aspects of cooperation. As a result of the negotiations, agreements were reached on attracting tourist flows and expanding partnerships ahead of the 2026 tourism season.
The roadshows marked another step toward strengthening tourism ties between Uzbekistan and China and promoting the country as an attractive destination in one of its key foreign markets.
