Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Traffic on Shota Rustaveli Street in Tashkent has been temporarily restricted due to reconstruction works, the press service of the Main Department for the Development of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the capital reported.

From 2 to 25 August 2025, the section of Shota Rustaveli Street in the Yakkasaray district — from the intersection near the Grand Mir Hotel to Bobur Street — will be closed to traffic. As a result, several city bus routes have been temporarily changed.

Buses No. 18, 38, 58, and 67 will run along Shakhrisabz, Mirobod, Nukus, and Bobur streets before continuing on Shota Rustaveli. Routes No. 57, 81, and 98 will operate via Mirobod — Yusuf Khos Khodjib — Bobur. Route No. 127 will temporarily run along Nukus and Mukimiy streets.

During the reconstruction period, traffic congestion and delays in public transport schedules are expected. Additional adjustments to bus routes are also possible.
