Tourist Flow from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Increases by 76%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to September 2025, the number of Kazakh tourists visiting Uzbekistan reached nearly two million, according to the National Statistics Committee. This figure exceeds the same period last year by 857,000 people, or 76%.

The majority of Kazakh visitors came to Uzbekistan to see relatives, totaling 1,685,849 people. Business-related visits accounted for 149,912 arrivals, tourism trips numbered 143,898, educational visits involved 91 individuals, official business trips included 455 citizens, and medical visits totaled 6,063 people.

At the same time, nearly 1.1 million Uzbek citizens visited Kazakhstan, which is 338,500 more people, or 47% higher than during the same period last year.

These figures reflect the active recovery and growth of tourist flows between the two countries.
