Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, 49,400 Turkish citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes between January and April 2025.

This marks an increase of 18,000 visitors compared to the same period in 2024 — a growth of 57.4%.

Main purposes of visits by Turkish citizens in early 2025:

Business – 19,462

Travel & leisure – 16,260

Visiting relatives – 13,407

Commercial – 154

Education – 123

Medical treatment – 20

The sharp increase reflects growing interest in Uzbekistan as a business, cultural, and historical destination for Turkish travelers.
