Tourism Agencies in Uzbekistan Provide Over UZS 2.2 Trillion in Services in Eight Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to August 2025, tourism agencies in Uzbekistan provided services totaling more than 2.2 trillion soums.

According to the National Statistics Committee, this represents a 44% increase compared to the same period last year. The capital city, Tashkent, accounted for the largest share of services, reaching 1.7 trillion soums.

Following Tashkent, Samarkand region recorded 305 billion soums, Khorezm region — 73.1 billion soums, Tashkent region — 52.2 billion soums, and Bukhara region — 31.9 billion soums.

These five regions together accounted for 97.1% of the total services provided by tourism agencies in the country.
