TomTom and State Cadaster Committee to create navigation map of Uzbekistan for tourists

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- TomTom of the Netherlands and the State Committee of Uzbekistan for Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and State Cadastre agreed to create a navigation map of Uzbekistan for tourists.

Representatives of the two organizations held talks in Tashkent, the press service of the State Committee said in a statement. The parties discussed the issue of creating a navigation map of Uzbekistan.

In accordance with the agreement of the parties, TomTom and State Cadaster Committee will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation. Within the framework of the document, a navigation map will be created for smartphones, car navigators, personal navigators and web applications for route planning, as well as to increase the capacity of the committee staff.

Creation of the navigation map will allow tourists to easily determine directions to attractions, hotels and restaurants, and also help in planning tourist routes.
