According to the Ministry, four workers of the plant were poisoned by gas during the repair and cleaning works of the internal part of the filter-separator of the facility on production of propane-butane mixture.

The incident occured to negligence and negligence, the Uzbek Emergency Ministry said.

The head of the plant’s workshop for producing propane-butane mixture Azam Kuliyev, the operators Kudrat Turaev and Umrzok Urinov died on the site despite they received the first medical aid.

Another employee of the plant, Davron Botirov, was hospitalized. Doctors assess his condition as satisfactory.

The Ministry of Emergency said that a governmental commission was set up to study the reasons behind the incident and develop measures to prevent similar situations in the future.

The Commission took measures to provide all the necessary assistance to the families of the victims.
