In particular, the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department is implementing an investment project to upgrade three plants (UPPBS-3 / 1,2,5) for the production of propane-butane mixture worth US$49 million.
The project aims to increase production at three plants for the production of a propane-butane mixture of liquefied natural gas by an additional 61.0 thousand tons per year and to ensure growing demand among the republican consumers for this type of fuel.
To implement the project, 8 foreign contracts were concluded in the amount of US$19.32 million for the purchase of imported technological equipment manufactured at the factories of PJSC Sumy MNPO (Ukraine), KMPO JSC (Russia), NIPI NG PETON LLC (Russia), “Endress + Hauser” (Switzerland), “Elektrostandart-pribor” (Russia) and others.
The members of the Working Group, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz, studied the state of preparation and delivery of equipment within the framework of this investment project.
Tasks were identified for several variable internal parts of the compressor station, such as several interchangeable internal parts, control valves and measurement automation, low-voltage electrical equipment, liquefied gas storage tanks, separators, and laboratory equipment.
During the visit of Chairman of the Board Mehriddin Abdullayev and members of the working group to the Shurtan oil and gas production department, the head of the general contractor, Muborakneftegazmontaj, received a strict warning due to the fact that only 20% of the project has been completed so far, and construction and installation works are being delayed for no reason.
