Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A ceremony of the official transfer of cargo to the Uzbek side took place today. The Singapore Temasek Foundation has provided Uzbekistan with 30 units of Yuwell 7F-5 oxygen concentrators free of charge, Dunyo news agency reported.
The study of the direction of oxygen concentrators was carried out by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Singapore in accordance with the instruction of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, announced on 20 July at a video conference on the situation with the COVID-19 epidemic in Tashkent and the capital region.
The decision to provide 30 units of oxygen concentrators was timely and targeted assistance to Singapore in the implementation of comprehensive measures and decisive actions of Uzbekistan in the fight against COVID-19.
This is the second humanitarian aid provided by the Singaporean side for the effective operation of medical institutions in Uzbekistan (earlier, 5,000 PCR tests were sent to the republic).
The transportation of the above equipment was carried out on 22 July by a cargo flight of Uzbekistan Airways to Tashkent through the city of Shanghai (PRC) and accepted by the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.
