The Uzbek-Turkish business forum and B2B meetings with business circles of the two countries takes place

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 13 November 2019, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan together with the Turkish Association of Independent Architects Turk Serbest Mimarlar Dernegi held an Uzbek-Turkish business forum and B2B meetings with business circles of the two countries.

The purpose of this event is to develop trade, economic and investment relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey in the architectural and construction industries.

The forum was attended by First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan I. Jasimov, President of the Turkish Association of Independent Architects “Turk Serbest Mimarlar Dernegi” O. Kaya, Head of the Department of the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Turkey M. Nesimoglu.

In his speech, Islom Jasimov noted that currently construction and architectural works in our country are developing rapidly, new modern facilities are being built, and Turkish architects play an important role in this. He also emphasized the importance of preserving our old structures, because they reflect the history of our great ancestors.

During the business forum, presentations were made by representatives of the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent, in which they presented ongoing projects of the Business city. A representative of the Özgüven construction company also spoke, who spoke about the implementation of projects such as Olmazor city, Choshtepa city, as well as the joint Nestone project, implemented together with the Uzbek construction company Murad Buildings.

Within the framework of the forum, B2B meetings were held between the business circles of the two countries, where they exchanged views on the prospects for further development of Uzbek-Turkish cooperation in the field of architecture and construction, including the expansion of partnerships between Uzbek and Turkish enterprises.
