Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As previously reported, the construction of the Tashkent Pharma Park innovative scientific and production pharmaceutical cluster has begun in Zangiata district of Tashkent region.

One of the foreign partners in the implementation of investment projects in the new pharmaceutical cluster is the Ukrainian company Farmak, which produces more than 260 types of medicines, about 10 types of medical products, supplements for diabetes and other products. She is a leader in the production and export of all types of medicines in Ukraine.

“Farmak JSC comprehensively supports the initiative of the leadership of Uzbekistan in implementing comprehensive measures to improve the system of providing the population with high-quality medicines, creating favorable conditions for the development of the pharmaceutical industry,” says Farmak project manager Alexey Ivanchenko in an interview with Dunyo. - Our company, within the framework of the Tashkent Pharma Park pharmaceutical cluster, plans to implement a project to localize the production of medicines of international quality. In addition to jobs at the new production complex, we will create an opportunity to study modern pharmaceutical technologies, share the experience of manufacturing high-quality and modern medicines with specialists from Uzbekistan, and assist scientific and technological developments in the country.

This project will solve the problems of import substitution, establishing the production of medicines for the treatment of pathology of the endocrine system and cardiovascular diseases, and training modern personnel from among local specialists in the pharmaceutical and engineering fields.

Localization of the production of solid dosage forms in the form of tablets and capsules that meets European GMP standards will allow the production of more than 500 million tablets per year.
