The Tumaris field additionally produces 250,000 cubic meters of natural gas

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to prevent increased compression and reduced throughput in the Tumaris-Savatli gas pipeline, as well as to increase the volume of natural gas production at the Tumaris field of the Gazli oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, from the gas pipeline Tumaris-Savatli, up to the Dayakhotin-Kulbeshkak gas pipeline, a 426x16 mm diameter gas pipeline was installed and commissioned.

As a result, the compression of natural gas pipelines at the Tumaris field was reduced, and the pipeline’s throughput increased. That is, due to the pressure drop in the gas supply network (BVN) of the Tumaris field from R-67 kgf / cm² to R-52 kgf / cm², an additional 250.0 thousand cubic meters of natural gas are produced per day. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

Along with this, the opportunity has been created for transferring produced sulfur from wells at the Tumaris field through a separate natural gas pipeline to the Kulbeshchak integrated gas production line, and then to the Uchkir-Gazli gas pipeline.

Construction work was carried out by the general contractor of Muborakneftegazmontazh JSC.

The Tumaris field is located in Romitan district of Bukhara region and was commissioned in 2019.
