Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A faulty engine of the unit at the Yuzhny Urtabulok compressor station of the Mubarek oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz was repaired and put into operation.

The Yuzhny Urtabulok compressor station was built to increase the efficiency of natural gas production from wells at the Yuzhny Urtabulok field.

The main function of this station is to receive gases from low-pressure wells in fields with low reserves and increase pressure to the main gas pipeline.

The 3 gas units of this station use Catterpillar G3608 gas piston engines.

It was found that water was let out of the cylindrical sleeve in the engine of the GHA-200 gas unit, and given that the arrival of specialists from foreign companies took a long time due to the pandemic, the malfunction was fixed with local experts in a short time, and the installation was put into operation.
