Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Justice passed a state registration decree “On the approval of the Instructions on the Status, Duties, Functions and Qualification Requirements of Social Workers”.

According to this Instruction, a social worker is a person who has the necessary professional skills to organize the provision of social services or directly provides social services.

The following social worker positions are available:

specialist in organizing social services in all areas;

social worker carrying out social work with family, children and youth;

assistant Social Worker for the Care of Elderly People in Need of Outside Care and Persons with Disabilities.

This document defines the tasks of social workers.

In particular, a specialist in the organization of social services in all areas helps people out of difficult living conditions by providing psychosocial services that have legal, preventive, supportive, rehabilitative and therapeutic features.
