Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Special Republican Commission extended the restrictive measures (quarantine), as well as the strengthened order to counteract the spread of coronavirus infection until 1 June 2020.
Restrictive measures (quarantine) introduced by the Special Republican Commission from 20 April 2020, as well as the enhanced procedure for countering the spread of coronavirus infection, were extended until 10 May 2020.
Moreover, according to the decision of the commission, flights from Tashkent to Nukus, Urgench, Termez and vice versa will resume from 18 May.
Also, from 18 May, Afrosiyob trains will start running from Tashkent to Navoi, Bukhara and Karshi. The commission’s decision states that high-speed trains will resume their operations in the Ferghana Valley (Ferghana, Andijan and Namangan Regions) and vice versa.
From 15 May, the Special Republican Commission allowed a number of activities in Uzbekistan.
