Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan signed the Law “On Amendments and Additions to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
The law has made appropriate amendments and additions to a number of laws and codes.
In particular, the Code of Administrative Responsibility is supplemented by an article envisaging liability for non-compliance with the requirements for the conduct of weddings, family celebrations, ceremonies and rituals.
According to this, non-observance by a person conducting weddings, family celebrations, ceremonies and rituals of the requirements for the procedure for carrying out these events entails a fine on citizens in the amount of 10 basic estimated values (2 million 230 thousand soums).
Also, the official does not comply with the requirements of wedding houses, cafes and restaurants for weddings, family celebrations. ceremonies and rituals, shall be sanctioned by a fine in the amount of 30 basic estimated values (6 million 690 thousand soums)
The owner of wedding houses, cafes and restaurants committing this offense repeatedly within a year after the application of administrative penalties entails a fine in the amount of 50 basic estimated values (11 million 150 thousand soums).
This procedure shall be enforced upon expiration of three months from the date of entry into force of the Law.
