The size of debt collection for public services increases this year by more than 1 trillion soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - For 9 months of 2019, 3 trillion 145 billion 368 million soums were recovered by employees of the district offices of the Tashkent Compulsory Enforcement Bureau for the use of energy resources and water supply.

These indicators increased by 1 trillion 381.4 billion soums. compared to the same period last year. This was announced at a press conference of the Compulsory Enforcement Bureau under the Prosecutor General’s Office “Results of the Bureau’s activities for 9 months of the current year and priority tasks”, which took place on October 23.

In total, over the past period of this year, 667.493 executive documents (documents on the basis of which debts are collected) were received in the regional branches of the BPI of Tashkent, totaling more than 9 trillion 687 billion soums. Of these, 383.471 cases were executed in the amount of 5 trillion 779 billion 026 million soums.

There are unreasonable debts. From the day the Bureau was established, unjustified debts totaling 28 billion 273.9 million soums were identified in relation to 17.335 consumers. One of the urgent tasks of the Bureau is to prevent the formation of unjustified debt.
