Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 13 June, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva traveled to Kashkadarya region to familiarize herself with ongoing work to ensure employment, entrepreneurship development and poverty reduction.

The trip began from the pilgrimage site "Abu Muyin An-Nasafi", located in the mahalla gathering of citizens "Kovchin" in Karshi district.

Abu Muyin An-Nasafi made a great contribution to the wide dissemination of interpretations of the doctrine of Abu Mansur Moturidi (870-945) and the Hanafi madhhab. His merits in maintaining the purity of the religion of Islam are worthy of attention.

This complex was built on the initiative and instruction of the President. The tomb of the scientist has been completely reconstructed; on the basis of the complex, the construction of a mosque for 500 people, a library, a museum, an administrative building, a bathing room, and a teahouse have been completed. Beautification work was carried out on an area of 70 hectares in its vicinity, with particular attention being paid to the development of tourism. In order to attract tourists to the traditions of ancient handicraft and products of national handicraft, a cluster is being created at this place.

Senate Chairperson T. Narbaeva got acquainted here with products made by women artisans, drew attention to the issues of supporting women artisans, eliminating their problems and shortcomings.

“We are restoring the pilgrimage sites of our ancestor Nasafi.” In anticipation of their discovery, we took samples from Shakhrisabz school of handicrafts and create female handicrafts that are inherent in the Karshi region, ”says artisan entrepreneur Yulduz Mamadiyorova. “Ancient print embroidery is developed here, together with the employment department, we created a cluster to demonstrate the work of women sitting at home to a wide audience. At least 70 people will be employed here. Currently 30 people work. They embroider three types of carpets, two types of embroidery.

Further, the Senate Chairperson familiarized herself with the project for a total amount of US$1.7 million implemented at the Atirgul greenhouse, which was created as an experiment on the territory of the Navoi mahalla in the area. According to the project, 5 species of Dutch roses are grown on 1.3 hectares of land.

During the meeting, it was especially noted that over 5 thousand medical staff who are courageous in the current pandemic conditions, businessman K. Toshev, who is the owner of the greenhouse, was presented with roses grown in this greenhouse.

The next stop is small, industrial zones created in the region. Senate Chairman T. Narbaeva got acquainted with their activities, was interested in the work being carried out in this direction. It is worth noting that today in the small industrial zones of the region 40 projects have been implemented and 419 jobs have been created. So, thanks to the implementation of 4 projects in the small industrial zone in Karshi district, 72 new jobs will be created.

Also, Yulduz Chevar implements a project on sewing production, and Promakh - an information kiosk production project.

About 30 jobs will be created through the implementation of Constructing The Mantle Service project to create a workshop for the collection of equipment for drilling oil and gas wells for a total amount of US$350,000.

Also in the small industrial zone, Sapphire Standard is engaged in the production of detergents and cleaning products, toothpastes, and the Turdi Muazzam Service enterprise is engaged in the production of heating furnaces.

In addition, T.Narbaeva visited the greenhouse of Kashkadaryo Parnik Tarakkiyet Invest in the territory of the mahalla assembly of citizens “Honabon”, which was built using the hydroponic method. In a greenhouse on an area of 10 ha, hydroponic equipment is installed. Now all the equipment has been brought in and the construction work has been completed on an area of 4 hectares. In the remaining area of 6 hectares, work is 90% completed. It is planned that the greenhouse in September this year will fully work
