Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Senate approved a Law “On ratification by the Republic of Uzbekistan of the Nakhichevan agreement (Nakhichevan, 3 October 2009) on the establishment of a Cooperation Council for Turkic-speaking states.”
The Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States is an international intergovernmental organization whose activities are aimed at strengthening friendship and good neighborliness between Turkic-speaking countries, maintaining peace, security and mutual trust in the region and the world.
Today, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan are members of this structure.
