Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Government of Uzbekistan set the rules for staying of employees in the workplace.

This is envisaged by government decree “On additional measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection” from 23 March.

The rules for staying employees at workplaces are established.

In accordance with a government resolution from 23 March, the heads of enterprises and organizations were instructed to establish an order in which:

- All organizations, regardless of departmental subordination and legal form, in the manner prescribed by law should send employees on labor leave, and the remaining part should be transferred to the remote work mode to the maximum extent possible.

- All organizations (employers) must introduce a mandatory requirement for visitors to have a medical mask, as well as checking the body temperature of employees. Employees with fever are not allowed to be at the workplace, information about them should be urgently reported to health authorities.

- Measure the body temperature of employees at workplaces, prevent workers with high temperatures;

- Report immediately such workers to health facilities;

- Immediately transmit information about employees infected with coronavirus and take measures to disinfect their places of residence;

- Assist workers in complying with isolation requirements.
