Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Presidential Decree “On Improving the Position of the Republic of Uzbekistan in International Ratings and Indices, as well as the Implementation of a New System-Based Mechanism for Working with It in Government Agencies and Organizations” was adopted.
The decree created the Republican Council for work with international ratings and indices, as well as defined its main tasks.
One of the tasks of the Council is to conduct a systematic analysis of the level of socio-economic, political and legal development of the country, to ensure that the fundamental transformations carried out in various fields are taken into account in order to improve our country's position in international ratings and indices.
The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Justice are determined by the working bodies of the Council.
On this basis, the distribution of socio-economic and political-legal ratings and indices between the working bodies of the Council was approved.
The decree also approved Key Performance Indicators for international ratings and indices that are priority for the Republic of Uzbekistan (KPI).
According to the Decree, the first leaders of the responsible state bodies for each quarter:
- Until the 15th day of the next month - submit information on the reforms implemented in the country to the working bodies of the Council with the necessary statistics and other materials;
- Until the 30th day of the next month - they report on the measures taken to achieve KPI in the relevant international ratings and indices at meetings of the Council, conducted under the guidance of the chairman or his deputy.
A decree in the structure of the central apparatus of the Ministry of Justice established the Office for Work with International Ratings and Indexes.
Until 1 October 2020, the Unified Portal “The Republic of Uzbekistan in International Ratings” will be launched on the Internet.
