Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Regulation on the procedure for the sale of apartments in an apartment building to categories of citizens in need of improving housing conditions was approved.

According to the Regulation, the consolidation of individuals in need of better housing conditions is carried out by the territorial commission in the presence of one of the following criteria:

- lack of own housing and living in a dwelling on the terms of hiring (rent), gratuitous use or in dilapidated residential buildings;

- living together with another or other families in one residential building (one apartment);

- the large family;

- the upbringing of the child (s) by the mother (father) in an incomplete family;

- the presence in the family of a person suffering from a severe type of chronic disease and needing to live in a separate room;

- the presence in the family of a disabled person of the first group;

- mismatch of the housing area with the social norm of the housing area provided for by law;

- studying doctoral students, starting from the 2nd year of basic doctoral studies at postgraduate education institutes.
