Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 30 October 2019, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Benelux countries Dilyor Hakimov met with the head of the Newport press club (The Hague, Netherlands) Boyem Frank.

During the meeting, issues of establishing trade, economic and investment ties, practical aspects of promoting Uzbek-Dutch cooperation in the fields of culture, art, education and sports were discussed.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on a visit to the Netherlands on 8 November by a delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

The parties agreed to establish an informal Uzbekistan-Benelux Trade and Economic Partnership Group with headquarters in The Hague. Leading entrepreneurs, economists, heads of the largest companies interested in establishing trade and investment interaction with our country will be involved in its activities.
