The prospects of cooperation in the field of training were discussed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 February 2020, in Kuala Lumpur, the director of the Republican Higher School of Business and Management named after Abu Rayhan Beruni Rustam Abduraupov met with the chief executive officer of the International Center for the Education of Islamic Finance of Malaysia (INCEIF) Dr. Azmi Omar.

According to the information of the Embassy of our country in Kuala Lumpur, founded by the Central Bank of Malaysia in 2005, INCEIF is an international university in the field of training in Islamic finance and one of the best business schools in the world in this area.

During the negotiations, issues of establishing cooperation on the organization of joint training programs for the preparation of masters in the field of Islamic finance were discussed.

Following the talks, an official ceremony of signing the Memorandum of Understanding in the field of development of cooperation in the following areas was held:

- training and professional development of specialists in the field of Islamic finance, business, management, banking and the digital economy;

- development and implementation of joint educational programs for the master’s program with the issuance of a double diploma in subjects of mutual interest;

- organization of joint short-term courses, workshops, seminars, conferences and other scientific and educational events;

- exchange of students and faculty;

- organization and conduct of joint scientific and applied research and the possibility of obtaining grants in this direction.

An agreement was also reached on organizing a visit of INCEIF representatives to Uzbekistan with a view to practical implementation of specific areas of cooperation and a master class in the field of Islamic finance.
