The procedure for sending specialists abroad to study the status of regulated products established

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The order “On approval of the Regulation on the criteria for determining the need and the procedure for sending specialists to foreign countries to study the phytosanitary status of quarantine products when issuing permits for these products” was registered by the Ministry of Justice.

According to the Regulation, specialists are sent to study the phytosanitary status of quarantined products abroad in the presence of a threat of the penetration into the Republic of Uzbekistan of dangerous pests with quarantined products from abroad.

The study of the phytosanitary condition of products is carried out by specialists of the State Plant Quarantine Inspection under the Cabinet of Ministers.

For this, individuals or legal entities apply to the Inspectorate with a request to send a specialist.

The application is considered within 7 business days, the need for a specialist to be sent to the territory of a foreign country is studied and the applicant is informed.

All costs associated with the study of the phytosanitary condition of products are borne by the applicant and / or the authorized body of a foreign state by mutual agreement of the parties (agreement).
