The Procedure for Monitoring Subsidies and Incentives for Entrepreneurs Approved

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan has approved a new procedure for systematic monitoring of subsidies provided to entrepreneurs. The corresponding Resolution No. 784 was signed on 11 December 2025.

The document defines the framework for assessing the effectiveness of subsidies, benefits, and incentives, as well as the procedures for recovering funds that were unjustifiably received or used for purposes other than those intended.

Under the new regulation, when support measures are granted, the organization allocating the subsidy must determine specific target indicators that the entrepreneur is required to achieve.

Compliance with these requirements will be monitored through the platform “subsidiya.mf.uz”.

The effectiveness of subsidy use will be assessed based on economic, financial, and social criteria, taking into account the entrepreneur’s financial and tax reports, information from sectoral agencies and statistical authorities, as well as data provided by the entrepreneur on the outcomes of the support received.

Subsidies are subject to recovery if the entrepreneur fails to meet the established target indicators, if misuse or inefficient use of funds is identified, or if cases of unjustified receipt of subsidies or the submission of inaccurate information and documents are discovered.

The new system is aimed at enhancing the transparency and effectiveness of state support for businesses in Uzbekistan.
