Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On the initiative of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an online video conference was held with an international expert on innovations from the UK, Paul Sloan, Dunyo reports with reference to the press service of the Uzbek Ministry.

Paul Sloan is a leading specialist in information technology, mainly in the field of marketing and sales of companies such as Mathsoft, IBM and others. He is also the lecturer of many prestigious universities, including Cambridge, the author of more than 20 books in the field of innovation, innovative entrepreneurship and management.

During the online meeting, Deputy Minister Azimjon Nazarov presented information on the activities of the Ministry of Innovative Development and the practical work carried out to form an innovative ecosystem in the Republic. The British scientist praised the reforms carried out in the field of innovation in the country.

The meeting emphasized the need to pay special attention to innovation, innovative entrepreneurship and management in the country. The importance of supporting the financing of scientific startup projects in areas such as genetics, bioengineering was also noted.

“The introduction of innovations in public administration and the private sector requires different approaches,” the British expert noted. - The main means of successfully introducing innovations into the life of any country is to ensure that leading cadres possess high managerial skills and establish close contact with innovators in their subordination.

During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of organizing a meeting of the world’s leading innovators in Uzbekistan in the framework of the International Exhibition of Innovations 2020 and creating a virtual platform for constant cooperation with them.

It was agreed to hold an online forum with the support of Paul Sloan with international experts in the field of innovation and the Ministry of Innovation Development.
