Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 5 July, the Ministry of Innovation Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the ERGO RESEARCH AND ADVISORY Company held an event on the ceremonial launch of the popular science platform of the magazine QVANT.

The event was attended by top officials and representatives of ministries, departments, leading universities, academics, entrepreneurs, heads of international organizations, banks and large companies.

The presentation was opened by the Minister of Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrahim Abdurakhmanov. The Minister noted in his speech that in our country a lot of attention is paid to science and issues of innovation, which in turn increases the relevance of the issues of their promotion.

In this case, the role of the popular science magazine “QVANT”, which meets all modern requirements, in familiarizing not only the population of our country, but also the countries of Central Asia with positive changes in our country, which has taken the path of innovative development will be weighty.

The Minister of Innovations in his welcoming speech noted that the Ministry of Innovative Development pays great attention to launching a new product and provides comprehensive assistance in supporting such a large-scale information platform created to popularize science, culture and technology, as well as to implement the five initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The head of the KVANT project, Raufkhon Salakhodjayev, a young economist who joined the list of 100 most cited and published young economists on the planet in 2017, notes that the creation of the journal will significantly increase the interest of young people in research and analytics, as the magazine will provide a platform for young scientists to publish their research in the most accessible form.

Moreover, the magazine can be a source of inspiration for young people, academies and representatives of the private sector, since it will highlight the most interesting breakthroughs in the field of innovation and science, publish interviews with famous scientists, analysts and businessmen, as well as study interesting business cases. The magazine will consist of a whole ecosystem, which in addition to the print version will include the Youtube channel, podcasts, webinars and a website.
