Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Another 10 new cases of coronavirus infection have been revealed in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Health reports.

According to the Ministry of Health, coronavirus was found in 9 people who came into contact with patients with coronavirus infection.

Also, a coronavirus infection was detected in a citizen of Uzbekistan who returned from abroad.

The number of registered cases of coronavirus in the country has reached 33. All infected are citizens of Uzbekistan.

“To date, more than 9,000 people were quarantined, almost 7,000 of them have already been released home.

Currently, 2,300 people are in quarantine, said Nurmat Otabekov, chief state sanitary inspector.
