Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 4:00 p.m. on 19 May 2020, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan reached 2825 (+23).

All confirmed new cases have been identified among citizens arriving from abroad. Out of 18 citizens, they arrived on 14 May from St. Petersburg on a charter flight, and 5 are drivers of international long-distance trucks.

In our country, at the moment, 2,338 people have completely recovered from coronavirus infection, and the recovery rate is 82 percent.

At present, 474 patients are being treated in specialized medical institutions in 9 regions of Uzbekistan, of which 6 are in serious condition.
