Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the "yellow" and "green" quarantine zones of Bukhara region, public transport is allowed (buses of city and suburban communications, with the exception of DAMAS cars and minibuses). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport.

In public transport, strict compliance with quarantine measures is required. In particular, the complete disinfection of a vehicle by a fleet of vehicles before each trip, at the terminal station, as well as at intermediate stops. Drivers should wear medical masks and gloves, as well as change them regularly and in a timely manner. Only passengers in medical masks are allowed in the public transport lounge.

So far, public transport is not allowed in Vobkent, Gijduvan and Shafirkan districts, included in the "red" quarantine zone. The leaders of motor transport companies involved in bus transportation are required to carry out their activities in strict compliance with the above quarantine rules.

Monitoring compliance with the established quarantine requirements is carried out by Responsible officers of the regional Department of Transport and the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Inspection. According to the revealed violations, appropriate legal penalties will be applied.
